DSG
A Dual shift gearbox otherwise abbreviated to DSG is a two clutch transmission that merges automatic gear control for the driver with a manual aspect when it comes to the mechanical workings of the gearbox.
Controlled by two clutches and a Mechatronic unit (Brain) the gear changes are what we call pre-selected to allow for a smoother gear change and most importantly better fuel efficiency.
